Work Pattern:           35.25 hours per week, Term Time (39 weeks incl 5 training days)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly efficient and organised person to become a Pastoral Support Assistant, at Fulbrook.  You will be joining our Pastoral and Behaviour team; working with staff and students, giving behaviour and pastoral support, as well as providing assistance and advice for students (predominantly those in Key Stage 3, Years 7-9), at Fulbrook.

The successful candidate will:

  • monitor and support students’ behaviour, progress, safety, well-being and attendance;
  • be an integral part of the pastoral and behaviour team;
  • work with students, staff, parents and external agencies, with the aim to help our young people participate positively to school life and experience success.

In light of the plans for the future of the school and its move to secondary status, this is an exciting and crucial time, as we develop our provision for students up to the age of 16.

Set in a magnificent green field site, just within the county boundary of Bedfordshire, the school is close to the exciting and vibrant city of Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire. Our current number on role is 450. As a 9-16 extended secondary school, we shall have approximately 720 pupils on roll by 2024.
