Admissions
Fulbrook School offers provision for students between the ages of 9 – 16 in Years 5 – 11.
Prospective parents, carers and students may visit the school after arranging an appointment.
Children already on the school’s roll prior to moving into Year 7, will automatically move into this year group without the need to apply for a place.
The school has an agreed Published Admission Number (PAN) of 50 for entry into Year 5 and 120 for entry into Year 7. The children who are already in Year 6 at Fulbrook School will automatically be allocated a place in Year 7 and will count towards the PAN of 120.
In year admissions refer to applications made at any other time after the initial September entry into Year 5 or Year 7.
Please note that when a place does become available it is allocated strictly in accordance with the school’s admissions criteria.
Fulbrook School maintains a waiting list throughout the academic year. The waiting list will be ranked in accordance with the over-subscription criteria and length of time on the list will not be a factor in offering a place. This means that children will move up and down the list as other children are or removed. Being on the waiting list does not guarantee a place at the school. Waiting lists close at the end of each academic year.
Where an application is unsuccessful, applicants will be provided with information on the appeals process.
Applications for an in-year admission should be made directly to Fulbrook School. The admissions team aims to respond within 10 school days.
If your child is not in a local school at this time, you should also contact the School Admissions team at Central Bedfordshire Council on 0300 300 8037 for further advice.
