Lost Boys Campaign

Bedfordshire Police’s impactful “Lost Boys” campaign, launched in June 2025, gave 20 Fulbrook pupils the powerful opportunity to view an immersive 180° virtual reality (VR) film that places young people directly into real-life scenarios, helping them understand the hidden dangers of county lines drug gangs and child criminal exploitation. Rather than simply talking about the risks, the experience allows participants to see and feel how grooming, manipulation, and coercion can unfold — and how quickly situations can escalate.

This was more than just a film; it’s a powerful preventative tool designed to spark honest conversations, build awareness, and empower young people to recognise warning signs and make safer choices.

The session offered a unique chance to gain insight, ask questions, and better understand how pupils can protect themselves and their peers from exploitation.
