School Uniform

Uniform

 

  • Plain white shirt or blouse. 

  • Navy blue V-neck jumper. The Fulbrook branded jumper is optional.

  • Trousers must be charcoal grey. Alternatively, charcoal grey tailored shorts or short culottes can be worn.

  • Skirts must be charcoal grey and a suitable length, i.e. on the knee or just above. They can be pleated or straight. They should not be tube skirts, or skater style, but a smart skirt. There must not be no splits in the skirt.

  • Socks must be plain and dark in colour, or white. No vibrant colours, patterns or slogans.  Charcoal, black or navy thick/opaque tights can be worn.

  •  Fulbrook School Tie*

  • Students who wish to wear a head covering for religious purposes, may do so. We request these are plain and black, navy or white.

  • Blue polo shirt with school logo (summer term only - this will no longer be an item of uniform for 2022-23). 

PE Kit

 

  • A Fulbrook sports polo and/or sport jersey* should be worn on PE days.

  • A Fulbrook PE hoodie is an optional item and should be worn on PE days only.  

  • Plain black shorts or skorts (at least mid-thigh in length). Black sports leggings or tracksuit bottoms can be worn in the colder months.

  • Socks should be royal blue in colour or plain white sports socks.

  • A pair of trainers for PE, not plimsolls. These must be suitable for use on the 3G pitch.

Uniform Requirements
  • The following jewellery items are permitted in school: students are permitted to wear a short necklace, if worn inside the shirt. Body piercings are strictly limited to a single nose stud and ears. No eyebrow, lip or other piercings are allowed. Earrings should be studs only. Rings are limited to one per hand. All jewellery must be removed for PE lessons.

  • Students in Year 7 and above are permitted to wear minimal make-up. Students will be asked to remove any make-up deemed excessive.
    Hair must be suitable for a school environment and natural in colour. In Year 7 and above, students are permitted to wear their hair down, although it must be tied up for practical lessons: art, PE, science and design Technology.

  • Tattoos are not permitted . It is illegal for anyone to tattoo a person under the age of 18.

  • False, gel or acrylic nails and false eyelashes are not permitted.

Please ensure that all articles of clothing and PE kit are clearly and permanently named.  

 

P.E. kit should be worn to school on P.E. days only.  In cold weather, students are encouraged to wear a plain, dark tracksuit. 

We strongly discourage the bringing to school of any items of value or large sums of money. We discourage children from bringing mobile phones to school. If parents choose to allow children to bring them then they must be locked away in their lockers during the school day.

 

We will not accept responsibility for any lost or broken mobile phones. Pupils are not permitted to use them on the school site.
