We have liaised with Caterlink, our lunch providers, to ensure that we are able to facilitate hot lunches, whilst allowing for cleaning and sanitising between sittings and keeping everyone safe.
Our proposal is:
Hot meals will be served by kitchen staff, in the hall.
Entry and exit to the hall will be via a one-way system.
The menu will be more limited than usual, but we are pleased to be able to offer a meat and vegetarian dish or jacket potato.
There will be two sittings: Sitting one for Years 5 and 6, 12:15 – 12:35, and sitting two for Years 7 and 8, 12:40 – 13:00.
Classes will be seated at the same table.
Year group bubbles will be kept apart, using different sections of the hall.
Food will be contained in an ‘in flight tray’ containing their food and cutlery.
Tables and chairs will be wiped down between sittings.
Expectation from pupils:
To wear a face covering on entering and exiting the hall; this should be removed once seated and about to eat (except for those who are exempt from wearing one).
To bring their water bottle with them to lunch; a jug of water will be provided to refill their bottles if required.
To leave their tray at the cleaning station as they exit the hall.
Our school lunches are provided by Caterlink Ltd.
Meals are paid for using a cashless, online system. A registration letter will be given to you when your child starts Fulbrook enabling you to add credit to each individual child’s account.
£2.30 per day or £11.50 per week
Prices have increased to £2.30 per day from January 2022
