Community
Partnerships
We believe that the partnership between school, parent and child is the key to good learning. We want families to feel welcome and part of the school. We work closely with colleagues from our feeder schools to ensure that pupils begin middle school life confident and ready to learn.
Regular opportunities for parents and carers to find out how their child is progressing include: Parent Consultation Evenings, Parent Planner, and newsletters.

Our community within a community
Fulbrook School is very much a focal point in the local community. Approxiamtely 500 pupils attend the school from Woburn Sands and the surrounding villages. We also welcome children from Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes. Many of our first class facilities are used by children and adult groups outside school hours. Our pupils participate in a variety of community activities including:
-
September Macmillan Coffee morning (just one example of our charitable work);
-
Year 8 Sports Leaders assisting at feeder schools’ Sports Days;
-
Our choir performing at local residential homes;
-
Christmas Carol service at St Michael’s church;
-
PTA organising Year 8 Leavers’ Ball
-
Year 8 pupils' Careers Day where local employers work with the children;
-
Links to after school care groups at Swallowbrook and Bow Brickhill.

I think that this community is very lucky to have such a terrific school at its heart and I feel appreciative of the time that my child spent there
